THE FISHERS OF MEN MINISTRY
Welcome to the Fishers Of Men Ministry. This ministry is a 12-week training course in person-to-person evangelism. There are eleven 2-1/2 hour classes held once a week for eleven consecutive weeks. Students receive their homework at the first class and a graduation banquet is held following the last class. Therefore, the duration of the course is normally about 12 weeks. Each student enrolled in the course is asked to commit themselves to faithfully attending the classes and completing all assigned homework, averaging about an hour each day.
The curriculum is geared to the standard member of the church of Christ with little or no experience in teaching the gospel. The Fishers Of Men (FOM) course entails daily Bible study and training in methods of how to reach and teach lost souls.
Benny Stephens has has been a full time instructor with Fishers of Men since 1985. During that time he trained thousands of brethren to be more active and effective in reaching out to others with the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. Only the Lord knows how many souls will inhabit heaven because of Benny’s efforts in the kingdom.
As of the new year, Benny is stepping away from his full time work with FOM. We are thankful for his diligent service to the Lord through this peerless ministry and wish him and Gayle well in all of their endeavors as they faithfully serve the Lord.

Tim was born on February 13, 1980 in Memphis, TN. He obeyed the Gospel in January of 1991 in Meridian, MS. He married Rachel (Hayes) on August 6, 2005 and they have two children, Titus and Abigail.
Timothy Wilkes, II -
Darrell Broking was baptized into Christ in 1982. He married the former April Zuna in 1984. He began to preach the gospel shortly thereafter. The Brokings have three children, Magen 36, Travis 34, and Titus 15. Titus has completed high school and is now filling in for preachers in Middle Tennessee as needed.
Darrell Broking -
Native of Augusta, Georgia, USA. Married to Melany (Eads), three children, and four grand children. Barry graduated from Memphis School of Preaching; Southern Christian University, (B.A)., and has preached for thirty-two years.
Barry Hatcher -
Benny was born in Clay County, Tennessee on June 16, 1932. After graduating from high school he worked in retail sales before entering the Air Force in 1951. He was trained as a Jet Engine Specialist and was stationed in TX, IL, WI, AS.
